74th Street Elementary School Assemblies
On February 27th and 28th, School Assemblies took place featuring music, dance, and drama.
Children, parents and faculty, all enjoy the the cosmetic duplicate of the Rosa Park Bus, and learning more about recent american civil rights history.

Rosa Parks Freeway

On Friday February 8th, the cosmetic duplicate of the bus in which Rosa Parks stood up for her rights, drove the renamed Rosa Parks Freeway filled with Community Leaders.

Egon Kafka from The Cantos Collection which donated the historic bus was driving, in an atmosphere charged with emotion.

"The Rosa Parks Story" Movie premiere

The film boasts a star-studded line up, with Angela Basset in the role of Rosa Parks, Tison plays Leona, Rosa's mother. Making a cameo appearance as Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. is his son Dexter Scott King.
